Emotional Intelligence

Research shows that what separates highly successful people from those who continuously struggle to achieve their goals isn’t necessarily a difference in intelligence or skills. To the contrary, the key difference seen in the most successful executives, employees, parents and partners is in their degree of emotional intelligence: their ability to effectively identify and manage their emotions, themselves and their relationships.

A simple definition of emotional intelligence is recognizing, understanding and choosing how we think, feel and act.

Emotional intelligence does not contradict intelligence, but rather is the unique intersection of one's intellect and one's heart. And, it’s become one of the hottest topics in business today.
