Presented in collaboration with The Natural Step Network and Stonewater.
Taking bold action for sustainability is not a technical issue so much as it is a leadership issue. Exemplary leaders have the ability to step into challenging times with confidence and take action to create new possibilities. They are resourceful, generative and innovative; inclusive, direct and respectful; authentic, effective and bold.
And they know they need to keep learning.
This course is designed to give you the strategic know-how and leadership capacity to build a truly sustainable, generative future. Develop a solid grounding in The Natural Step's sustainable strategic planning process through hands-on exercises that emphasize participation and practical application.
- You'll gain the technical skills and knowledge to make the case for change, and to apply a systems-based approach to strategic planning.
- You'll practice leadership skills that will enable you to powerfully influence your organization and inspire bold, courageous change.
- You'll be energized and inspired to think outside the box and find creative, innovative solutions to complex problems.
- You'll walk away as a leader with the ability to clearly convey the what, why, andhow of sustainability, ready to achieve sustainable results inside of your organization and out.
The Natural Step offers a comprehensive, scientifically-based framework to answer the question "How do I know when my organization is sustainable?" and then move step-by-step toward the answer. Coupled with some of the latest work on the neuroscience of leadership development, this course provides a solid foundation for any leader striving to create change.
This three day-course incorporates building personal leadership qualities that will enable you to powerfully influence your organization and inspire bold and courageous change. The course includes a 1-year Individual Membership in The Natural Step Network.
